All fairytales have an end… and a true fairytale it has been indeed.

DANISH COLLECTION will CLOSE DOWN in 2026. After more than 20 years in Sevenoaks we have decided to close. As many high street stores nationwide we have also experienced a steep decline in footfall. We have worked really hard the last couple of years to become a stronger online contender, however we have not been successfull in replacing lost revenue instore with online sales.

We just have the most wonderful customers ever – we have shared life stories with you, witnessed numerous engagements,weddings and babies, we have watched your children grow up (and collect MAILEG, yes), we have shared sad events too and yes also funerals. In short we have been part of a community. For that, simply THANK YOU.

To our wonderful team – thank you from the bottom of hearts. Thank you for contributing to the success we were. Thank you for believing in us. Thank you for all your hard work. A huge part of our team goes back to the very beginning, so over 20 years and others have been with us for well over 10 years. That is what we call LOYALTY. And also a huge thank you to all other lovely staff members we have ever employed. We sincerely hope you had fun.

Thank you to our suppliers – without them, no Danish Collection really. Thank you to the reps, some of you have been coming to us for a lot of years. We sincerely hope that you can transfer your business in Sevenoaks to other succesfull stores.

Our hearts will always stay in Sevenoaks, this is where our son was born, we built our life and we made friends.
