As we always try to finish up with a special one, Dez Weldon, this is all yours!

Now Dez is one of the best chaps you could wish to meet, he’s got a super sense of humour and is an all round top lad. He can also catch a fish or 2!

He’s been trying for a good while now to break his Barbel PB, and he’s finally hammered it with this absolutely fun perfect 16lb 4oz Trent beast!

An early morning wake up call from the bite alarm had Dez out of the sleeping bag and hanging on for dear life as this absolute unit gave a proper account of itself!

Now, we absolutely love it when we get a catch report from the next generation, even more so when they get a new PB

Our mate Paul Rudd was chuffed to bits to send in the report that his son Bradley was now firmly in club “15” with the capture of this 15lb 10oz tidal Trent beast!

This one was also backed up with fish of 11lb 4oz and 10lb 2oz, our B.P.T. Boosted Hook Pellets doing the business!

Good mate Andy Walton made a trip to the tidal Trent in search of gold, and donning his one off Burgundy Hoodie and Polo Shirt, struck it with this cracking missile!

This stunner, all 15lb of her was also backed up with fish of 13lb 50z, 12lb 5oz & 11lb 2oz, the mighty C.K.O. doing the business!

Our mate Liam Hurst popped down to see us and collect what can only be described as the mother of all orders, and so on the way back, felt it would be rude not to swing by the Trent for a few hours, followed by the Don!

The usual Hot n Spicy Pepperoni Boosted Hook Pellets, with matching 6mm loose feed pellets in PVA bags doing the trick!

Very good friend Leslie Wood has had a truly awesome season on his local big pit, and these are another 4 to add to his tally!

“Well it was quiet start with the first action being Tues morning and 2 bites in quick succession resulted in 2x losses due to hook pulls in the w**d.

A change of swim and change of fortune as the next 3 all went into the net 21lb Mirror, 23lb Mirror and 23lb 10oz common the next fish I lost…. All 4 runs in the Tuesday afternoon.

The night was rewarding as at 12.00ish I had an epic battle with this stunning mirror and a new one for me at 23lb 14oz.

I also had a couple of tench for good measure 😬

I fed C.K.O. 18mm and Insecto-Morph 16mm glugged in matching glug and a 16mm C.K.O. Wafter on the hook.

So I finished with 7 carp runs for 4 x 20’s and 2 tench!”
