Wild Weaving Day 🌿
I’m introducing something new for late summer into autumn — private one-to-one weaving days at my studio at Farfield Mill.
A whole day to slow down, make, learn and weave, surrounded by the rivers and hills of the Yorkshire Dales.
We’ll begin in the studio, choosing colours and designing your bracelet, before learning how to warp the loom, explore different weaving techniques and create your own bespoke design.
Then, weather permitting, we’ll take our looms down to the river and weave outside — something I’ve always loved, and one of the most beautiful ways to experience weaving.
There’ll be lunch from Farfield Tea Room, tea, coffee and cake, with time to explore the mill and its artists’ studios and galleries.
You’ll leave with a bracelet you’ve made yourself, and the knowledge to continue weaving at home.
A slow, creative day immersed in weaving, landscape and the changing season.
