Here at Sedbergh Information Centre and Howgills Bookshop we offer so much more than simply information and books. Whilst we do of course have lots of information leaflets, walking guides and maps for visitors and locals alike we also stock a huge range of gifts suitable for adults and children. When the Post Office closed we started stocking newspapers and magazines in order to provide a service for the people living at the east end of the town, we have regular customers who enjoy calling in for a chat and company. We are open seven days a week between 9am - 4pm staffed by wonderful volunteers and welcome local customers. Why not come in and see what we have to offer?
