A look back at one of our bespoke off-grid oak frame homes.
Designed to Passivhaus standards, this project combines traditional oak framing with modern sustainable design. Featuring wood fibre insulation, clay walls, solar panels and a shaded balcony, every element was carefully considered to maximise comfort, minimise energy use and reduce environmental impact.

The structure may be complete, but it's the finishing details that bring the entire project together.

We're currently installing and decorating the roof trims, including the barge boards, fascia and soffits. While these elements create a clean, finished appearance, they also play an important role in protecting the roof structure from the elements and ensuring proper ventilation where required.

It's another stage where precision matters. Every board is carefully fitted to complement the craftsmanship of the oak frame, creating a finish that's built to last and designed to look just as good for years to come.

Progress is coming together nicely, and we look forward to sharing the finished result.
