Exploring Cornwall just got a serious upgrade thanks to this dream setup with the new Ranger PHEV, converted by .pod into the ultimate coastal cooking truck. Complete with a induction hob, hot water for proper hand washing and cooking hygienically, plus even a shower for rinsing off after paddle boarding, it’s basically a galley kitchen on wheels.

The oak trim and stainless steel worktops give it that perfect coastal kitchen feel and everything fits snugly into the back of the Ranger. The roofbox is packed and ready for plenty more adventures across Cornwall and the South West.

This trip was all about slowing down and making the most of an evening at . I gathered a bit of driftwood, fired up the Egg and cooked piri piri chicken tacos with British asparagus and homegrown radishes for my girls while soaking up the sea views. Hard to beat cooking outdoors with the sound of the water nearby.

Of course, no trip to Ready Money Beach is complete without stopping by The Beach Café for an ice cream and a coffee. Brilliant little spot with loads of local artwork, souvenirs and one of the best views around.

Finished the day with a paddle board session which felt like the perfect way to unwind after cooking.

Big thanks to Fowey Harbour for having us. Looking forward to taking the Ranger from coast to moorland next for another cooking session and a few more adventures with 🛻 ☕️

This build was something very different, we were asked by SF6 recovery to convert their into a go anywhere mobile workshop, Plenty of storage for equipment, and at the top of the list an overhead extendable hoist to lift 3 x SF6 Gas bottles in and out the vehicle (these things way up to 130kg when full !)
The guys at SF6 have been lifting these in and out by hand so I think we did them proud 👌
We have the full build in edit and will drop on our YouTube channel when finished.

We do like a tidy distribution board, the van has the latest independence kit with this 6 Ac 12 DC smart distribution board. It even has 6 Bluetooth/ WiFi DC positions via the EcoFlow app or can be controlled via the on board touchscreen. We like this a lot 👌
