Well that's my last 'makes for the day' just drying....a pair of buoy dinner candle holders. Bashed on the rocks in the storms just their centre remains...by turning them into something quirky and useful its less plastic in the sea!!
Priced at £30 for the pair.
I'm just about closing up now and we are going to find more 'treasures' throughout the month of April.
I will reopen on the 1st May ###

Well after a long(ish) winter I, (along with masses of help from my hubby), have dusted, washed and swept my workshop ready for a new season...well part-time anyway, in between our travels!
This week I have got my design mojo back and worked on making 3 very different tables from 3 large pieces of driftwood I have had for ages (again with muscle help from my hubby!). All are £50 each.
The first piece is made from a drum top, mounted on a cube of white oak....it makes a beautiful low coffee table to grace any living room or conservatory.
The second table is a hall / wall side table....doesn't take up much space but handy just the same. Mounted on hairpin legs.
The third 'table' would work as either a long low coffee table in front of a sofa, or in a hall or conservatory as a shoe/boot rack.
These pieces are driftwood and as such they are rustic and not perfectly flat...

Absolutely horrid weather here on Scalpay....on for the day I believe. So I won't be opening my workshop today.
