Hi everyone work in full progress at the Bookshelf with the decorator very busy.
A bit sad to close after 20 years nearly but looking forward to the new venture.
Thanks to everyone for their custom and friendship over the years
I am still interested in buying good books on art and local history.

Hello. I am still in full sale mode with books on all subjects at only £1.00 each. But there is only another week to go as I will be closing down for a refurbishment next Friday.
The plan is to reopen at Easter with a sparkling new shop where I will still
Have books on art and design, local history and some literature. And walls will be cleared for pictures by local artists with out first artist being the famous Dav White. My shop/ gallery will be called Gallery 6 and I hope to see my regulars there. Watch this space for more information.
And many thanks to all customers of the Bookshelf over the years. Don't go away. It will be the same but different.

Hi everyone massive sale still going on at the Bookshelf. Trains , history religion, fiction, books about almost everything . I'm open tomorrow and for the time being mostly on Wednesday Friday and Saturdays . But if you can't make those days, I'm in scarborough so ring or message and I'll come and open up. Even early evenings. So hoping to see you.

Spring in the air and railway and transport books now in my sale window.
