I began taking part in trackdays in 2010 and have completed well over 100 trackdays since then in a variety of machinery, but mostly MX5s prepared by myself and friends. I passed my ARDS test in 2026 and intend to compete in some level of UK club motorsport from 2027.”

🔥 Rare 1:43 Solido March 707 Can-Am – Chris Amon STP Racing Car

This stunning 1:43 scale diecast model captures the powerful March 707 Can-Am car from 1970 in its iconic STP red livery, complete with number 77.

Made in France by Solido (Ref. 199), this model features excellent detail including a green STP rear wing, exposed engine, chrome exhaust stacks, chrome wheels, and working suspension.
Condition & Extras:

Very good overall condition
Original Solido box included (shows normal age wear)
Rare unused original decal sheet (Ref. 199 160.5) also included
Some light age-related fading on the number 77 decals (as shown in photos), otherwise very clean

Driven by legendary New Zealand driver Chris Amon, the real March 707 was a monster powered by a Chevrolet big-block V8 producing up to 800 hp in the wild Can-Am series.
