The latest addition to our Elton John Store YouTube channel.

The budget album area of 1969/70 Is a part of Elton 's career I have had a keen interest in since the reissue CD's surfaced all those years later.

Since then I have managed to locate over 50 different albums from the UK, Germany, France and Australia that Elton appeared on anonymously, all whilst his first two albums were released in his own right.

The below track appeared on the 70's German release " Super Sounds 70's " , a cover of the Moody Blues " Question " and a track that has never appeared on any of the reissue albums.

Coming to a UK stage near you soon from September 2026 - Captain Fantastic and The Rocketman Band - the Elton tribute you are not going to want to miss.

Yes this is a tribute band although it's hard to believe it.

Richard Reeves is Captain Fantastic and his six band members are The Rocket Man band.

Richard, a piano player from a young age , after his parents sent a video to Elton's management to see if Elton would meet him aged 14 before attending his first concert in Swansea in 2008 had his dream come true.

Elton so impressed by his playing agreed to him before the show in his dressing to give him words of encouragement.

Wind the clock forward to today and 32 year old Richard is now starting another dream in taking his tribute show on the road this Autumn on a nine date UK tour.

No wigs, nothing, Richard is a dead ringer for Elton of the 70's in both looks and playing and singing capability.

He has invested in quality replica Elton costumes and glasses and is going to take you back to that 70's era when Elton was selling out venues all over tge world and accounted for 2% of record sale.

Be prepared to walk out of the show at the end believing you have been in a time warp to 1976 and Elton's " Louder Than Concorde " tour.

Don't leave getting too long as this tour is sure to be a sell out when full promotion gets underway, ticket details below............

At the moment I am starting to go through 26 years of digital Elton content I hold on my drives from the many concerts I have been to over those years which contains 1000's of photos and videos.

I am going to be sharing some of it to my Elton John Store YouTube channel in no particular order.

Today I start with a video from one of my most memorable concerts ever attended and at the same time sad ones for it was Elton 's final show of his record breaking " Farewell Tour " in Stockholm from July 8th 2023.

Another extremely satisfied global customer from Australia who purchased the Blood Records L/E Diamonds from my personal collection downsize, check out the photos for feedback left.

I am now into my 28th year of selling official new Elton John music memorabilia together with quality pre-owned music and memorabilia across the UK and around the globe with 100 positive feedback on both my eBay & Discogs accounts.

Nowadays my sales come from my own collection as I continue to downsize with the aim to keeping some core items that hold too many precious memories such as my ticket stubs from over the years and my early programmes and records that my parents and family bought me whilst I was still at school.

I will be keeping all my personally signed items both from concert signings and in person signings over the years, these are too precious. I will be selling some of the signed items obtained via other means apart from ones obtained on my behalf by friends from official signings in other parts of the world I was not able to attend.

All that said above, the majority of my collection will be offered for sale over the coming years and there are some nice items spanning across the many decades of Elton’s career. It's going to take a few years to list it all.

Another addition to my Discogs sales channel as part of my collection downsize.

The Burberry box set is stunning and contains the very first run of Songs From The West Coast on vinyl so you are guaranteed one of the very first pressings as part of this limited edition numbered box set. In this case number 425/800

As well as the 6 albums in this collection the set also contains a 600 x 900mm folded poster with an iconic image of Elton photographed by Terry O'Neill and an exclusive interview by Elton with Burberry for this box set.

As a bonus whoever buys this set I will be slipping in one of the signed cards that came with " Who Believes In Angels" last year.

As part of my own collection downsizing I will be adding some of my Elton Record and CD collection on my Elton John Store Discogs sales channel.

Just added today is the Blood Records L/E diamonds filled clear vinyl record which was made available in January 2025.

It's something I have never played and was not likely too having bought the original vinyl album when it came out.

At the time of writing it was still available and is it the lowest UK priced copy on Discogs.
