I fell in love with this book as soon as I saw it (through the window of a rather busy charity shop). I even queued for 15 minutes to get in, I just couldn't let it go 😍

As is the case for most Folio Society books, the cover is stunning. I'm also a huge history nerd and the Celts are one of my favourite subjects, which just adds to my obsession with this book!

I have another of Nora Chadwick's books, The Druids, however that one is unfortunately not as mesmerising as the Celts 😂 Still, we all know that old saying about books and covers.... 📚
