Today is the day for Sale Comic Con. It kicks off at 10.30 in Sale Library, Market Walk and Stanley Square. There is lots to see and do including a chance to meet our special guest stars Sylvester McCoy, Sophie Aldred and Dean Michale.

Tonight we had Dinner with the Doctor. A charity dinner we put together for the new incoming Mayor of Trafford and his chosen charity. Sylvester McCoy was our special guest star for the evening.

Pick up your copy and get the writers and artists to sign it for you. Keep it safe for years and who knows, maybe one day it will pay off your mortgage for you. Afterall who thought Action No 1 or Amazing Fantasy 15 would be worth a fortune yeaars after they came out?

Also in issue one of Wow Comix Presents issue the creator autograph page. All the creative folk will be with us at Sale Comic Con tomorrow and you can get them to sign the comic next to their pictures.

Fans of The Mancunian and Impact come on down to the Comic Creators Zone at Sale Comic Con tomorrow where you can meet Brian M Clarke and John Jackson, the chaps who invented them! You will also be able to pick up some back issues which they will no doubt sign for you.

Come and meet an 80s icon at Sale Comic Con tomorrow.

Dean will be guesting at Sale Comic Con tomorrow. You can find him in the Library from 10.30. You will also be able to see him perform in a couple of weeks at Sale Waterside in the Sale Festival Variety show.

Sadly Sophie has had to drop out of Dinner with the Doctor due to work commitments but she will still be at Sale Comic Con on Saturday.

Well some good news and some bad news. On the plus side all our guests, exhibitors and traders are good for Saturday. Lets hope the rain stays away.

On the not so good news Sophie has had to drop out of Dinner with the Doctor tomorrow night due to work commitments, but she will be at the comic con on Saturday.

Meet the writers and artists behind Wow Comix Presents number one at Sale Comic Con: Saturday 6 June.

have you got your copy of Wow Comix Presents yet? Don't worry if you have not, there will be lots of free copies at Sale Comic Con. You can also meet the writers and artists who worked on the comic and you can get them to autograph your copy in the conveniently placed autograph section.

Less than two weeks away. Dinner with the Doctor and Sale Comic Con.

Two chances to see Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred soon, but for one of them time is running out so do not hang about!

First we have Dinner with the Doctor on Friday 5th June (that is next week if you have not been paying attention). Help support The Mayors Charity, meet the new Mayor of Trafford, meet the staars and enjoy a three course meal.

There are just a few tickets left but booking closes on Saturday 30th June. You can get them from the Sale Festival website in the whats on section.

Then on Saturday 6th June we have Sale Comic Con where you can meet Sylvester and Sophie in Sale Library from 10.30am.
