“Not Pure” is produced by Svetlana Sigalaeva of independent film company Light Danko. She is an award-winning filmmaker, whose creative voice was forged under censorship and sharpened through exile. Her films have travelled to more than seventy international festivals, winning honours for directing and storytelling that blends raw realism with mythic allegory.

"Experimental · Cinematic Parable · 2026 · 60 min

A love triangle — a meta-narrative woven into the life of an ordinary teenage girl. Sixteen-year-old Love Crucified — her name echoing both love and the cross — runs away from home, and by the end the entire “Holy Trinity” gathers at the dacha. A reinterpretation of the events surrounding Jesus and Pontius Pilate.

What if all of us are crucified between the past and the future — just as Jesus once was?"

Thank you for attending our market on Saturday, 25th July 2026. We have thoroughly enjoyed your company and joy of success! 💕

We will be taking our summer recess from 1 August to 28 August 2026.

During this period, there will be no markets. However, events organised by other organisations will still be taking place in the Market Hall on the following dates:

Saturday 1 August: 4:00pm – 10:00pm, Metalheadz, line up - Goldie, Dog Scott, Bailey and Elm Street


Sunday 9 August: 10:00am – 4:00pm, Hastings Big Flea organised by JamesMatthewThomas Creative
