October in St Ives? Sandy Feet Cottage Has You Covered

Fancy swapping the summer crowds for crisp coastal walks, cosy evenings and the magic of St Ives in autumn?

Sandy Feet Cottage is a beautifully refurbished former fisherman’s cottage tucked away on a quiet pedestrian street in the heart of old St Ives — just a couple of minutes from the harbour, beaches, shops, restaurants and galleries.

With its contemporary beach-style interiors, cosy log-burning stove and private rear courtyard, it’s a lovely place to settle in after a day exploring the coast.

There’s even “The Den” — a separate room across the courtyard with its own en-suite, giving older children or teenagers their own space.

So why wait for next summer? October in St Ives has its own kind of magic.

🌊🚣‍♀️ WHAT A TURNOUT FOR THE ST IVES RAFT RACE! 🎉

What a day! St Ives Harbour was absolutely packed as teams took to the water for this year’s St Ives Raft Race yesterday — and what a spectacle it was! 🤩

From colourful costumes and wonderfully wacky rafts to plenty of paddling, splashing and competitive spirit, the harbour was buzzing with energy.

And just look at those crowds! 👏 Hundreds of people came down to watch the fun, cheer on the teams and soak up the atmosphere.

A huge well done to everyone who took part!
