Seven women came to Stage Ready Style this week. None of them needed fixing or fitting into a seasonal colour palette, or a neatly defined box.
All of them had spent years making themselves smaller than what they’ve actually built. This day was about them taking up more space, exactly as themselves.
They arrived carrying labels, expectations and old stories about who they were supposed to be. Stories that told them to be safer, quieter, more careful, more contained. Underneath all of it was someone bolder who’d been there all along.
I’d spent weeks preparing for each woman individually. A personalised book chosen to support her style and identity journey, with a handwritten message inside. One woman cried when she read hers.
There were upcycled Indian sari gift bags, colour-matched to each person. Vogue postcards featuring their two closest style archetypes, which every woman said felt spot on.
Saskia's Flower Essences Sexy & Gorgeous and Speaking with Confidence blends to support them in embodying this next chapter. To The Fairest body oils and fragrances to help anchor the experience. Women-led businesses, every detail chosen with intention.
Priscilla Picks brought her communications expertise and used Lego to help each woman see her strengths, experience and impact in a completely different way. Things they’d been downplaying for years suddenly became impossible to ignore.
By the end of the day, their Signature Presence Plans flowed out of them. Words they couldn’t have found at 10am came easily by 3.30pm.
Not because they had become someone different, but because they had stopped editing themselves and started owning who they already are.
This work has never really been about clothes. Clothes are simply one of the tools we use. The real work is helping women reconnect with themselves, and trust what they find, style is the self expression.
If getting dressed has become a negotiation instead of a joy, this work is what changes it. DM me STYLE to find out more about working together in my Identity to Impact program.
