Book lovers filled The Rye Retreat last night to hear personal trainer and Kent resident Elizabeth Davies talk about her health and lifestyle book, Training For Your Old Lady Body.

Across the evening, a packed crowd heard her deconstruct the misinformation and destructive messaging of the female fitness industry before going on to explain how incremental but consistent change could lead to better long-term female health.

It was a fascinating and busy evening, which saw us sell all the copies of her book that we had in stock. But, we can always get some more. Pop into The Rye Bookshop to order your copy.
