Katy Rose is back next Tuesday (23rd June) with a session all about Ink.

We’ve also just released our summer workshops, and there are some wonderful themes lined up over the coming months.

Drawing Club is a relaxed, beginner-friendly evening of creativity. There’s no pressure to create something “good” or perfect. It’s simply a chance to unwind, try something new, and enjoy the process of making, whether you draw every day or have never picked up a pencil before.

Come with friends or come on your own, you’ll always find a warm welcome at Drawing Club.

TWO-STROKE RETURNS!

After a smash-hit run last summer and a run at Brighton Fringe, the girls are heading back to Ryde in time for Scooter Rally weekend and this time it is bigger and better than before!

“A musical delight” Isle of Wight County Press.

Two-Stroke returns to Department in a newly revamped version. The fast-paced Northern Soul musical is inspired by the electric atmosphere of the 1986 National Scooter Rally. Described by the Isle of Wight County Press as “a lively and enjoyable trip through the world of Northern Soul music”, the show follows three teenagers who pile onto the ferry to the Isle of Wight in search of the best weekend of their lives. Chasing music, freedom and the thrill of escape, the trio find themselves swept into a world of all-nighters, scooter rallies and soul music, where friendships are tested, tensions rise and long-buried secrets begin to surface.

Whether you’re a seasoned performer or taking your very first steps on stage, our Actor Workshop is open to everyone.

Led by Emma Turner, these engaging sessions are a fantastic way to develop your acting skills in a supportive and welcoming environment. Explore, create, collaborate and perform while building confidence and learning the craft.

Evening sessions take place on Tuesdays from 7pm to 9.30pm, with daytime sessions on Thursdays from 3.30pm to 6pm.

TIGER FEET PARTY is now on sale!

Join us for a morning of dancing, games, laughter, and plenty of party fun. Come dressed in your favourite fancy dress outfit and get ready to dance along to all your favourite tunes.

We’ll kick things off with music and games to get everyone moving, followed by party snacks, squash, and a special party bag to take home.

Perfect for children aged 0-6 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
