I'll bet my favourite wheel that you haven't thought or heard of at least 1 of these 👇️

1. Don't wear rings when cycling, you can end up ripping a finger off if it gets stuck!

2. Glasses do more than protect from the sun. They protect from dust, flys and any other debris from damaging your eyes! Investing in a sturdy pair is definitely worth the additional cost rather than one that wobbles about over every small bump

3. Helmets have a lifetime of around 3-5 years, make sure you keep track and cycle through them since the padding gets worn down over time, which may end up costing you your life!

4. Wash your bike and l**e your chain every 100 ish miles to ensure that it stays in a peak working condition and avoids any potential rust

5. Front AND tail lights are an absolute must. If you drive as well, then you know just how little visibility some cyclists have when they don't have both sets of lights

6. Strava still works for the basics, you don't need to invest in a cycling computer
