I don't always have every colour in stock, so please give me a few days notice if there is a particular flower or colour you would like me to include! I can take card payments over the phone or I can send you a link to pay online. I always deliver every creation myself by hand, so if you don't get a reply straight away, its possibly that I'm out delivering or have my hands full of flowers, so please leave me a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!

Let me show you this stunning cascading structural bridal bouquet….it’s not your average wedding bouquet!

I’ve probably over shared too many photos here, but my camera roll is bursting with about a million variations of the same photo!

Beautiful rich colours. A little bit of drama. We’re talking velvety deep pink calla lilies, glossy burgundy anthuriums, (expensive!) pink orchids, (very expensive!), vibrant red roses and trailing Amaranthus

It’s a statement bouquet. A talking point. A little bit of floral fabulousness.

There were also mini versions for the chair ends in the chapel at Bourton Hall Wedding Venue, which were then repurposed as guest table flowers..♥️

Congratulations K & A on your wedding day, it was a joy to create!

Happy FB anniversary to this page!! I’ve missed it by a few days though.. 11th October 2010, so for 16 years I’ve been sharing my work, my flowers, my grumbles and my wins with you all.

And look at this.. jeez, closes eyes and weeps!
This bouquet; thank god it wasn’t for a bride, but I made it for a wedding fair. Phew! 😂

Anyway, trends have come and gone, bye-bye to jam jars, hessian, diamanté pins, curled aspidistra leaves, Cadbury purple, bird cages, martini glasses, fishbowls! Seen it, done it.. hopefully they will never return.. however I do still have 12 fishbowls in my workroom, do you remember the coloured water beads that we would add!! 😭😬

🎄 CHRISTMAS WREATHS… I’M OUT! 🎄

Once upon a time, I used to make Christmas door wreaths. Lots of them!

But these days, it seems every village hall, church, pub, school PTA and possibly someone’s spare bedroom is hosting a Christmas wreath workshop! 😂

You can barely move for a wreath-making event! And do you know what? Good for them! 🙌

But I think the market might be just a tiny bit saturated. So this year, I’m hanging up my wreath-making scissors and leaving it to the workshops.

Me? I’m done. That ship has sailed. It’s gone over the horizon and I’m not swimming after it. 😂
And between you and me… my nails absolutely HATED making wreaths anyway.

So, if you were wondering whether Stemsations would be making Christmas door wreaths this year, the answer is NO! and I will not budge on that decision! (I’ve got a month of weddings, so I won’t be lolling on the sofa watching Hallmark Christmas movies!)

I’ll leave the moss, wire, pine needles and knackered nails to someone else!

Wedding enquiry: "We'd love chocolate and toffee tones with burgundy!"

And here's what I created...

Cappuccino roses, chocolate-coloured lisianthus, mocha and caramel tones and the deepest, darkest calla lilies.

Rich, warm, opulent and oh-so gorgeous!

The three bridesmaids carried bouquets in slightly paler shades of warm cream and biscuit, which looked absolutely perfect against their chocolate brown dresses. They were still in their pj's when I delivered, so you are going to have to take my word for it!

A match made in heaven... Lots of love from a contented florist!

I’m not selling… because nobody likes a selling post, do they?!

BUT… if you’d like some flowers delivered in the next few days, just let me know!

The conversation would go something like this…

You: Can I order some flowers for Monday?

Me: Yes, of course! Is £40 okay for a hand-tied bouquet in florist’s choice colours? They’ll be popped into water and delivered in a box/bag, so the recipient doesn’t have to go hunting for a vase.

You: Yes, perfect. Thank you!

And that’s it!

I’ll take your card payment, scribble down the delivery address and your card message, and you can get on with your day.

Easy!

So, why go through the faff of ordering through Moonpig or one of the big online flower companies, who’ll then have your email address forever and bombard you with sales emails?!

It’s Florist choice though.. I don’t want any of that.. can I have red, blue, orange, yellow and make it look nice.. otherwise I’ll send you somewhere else!

Coombe Abbey Hotel looked fabulous in the sunshine yesterday!

A wedding that included a mix of Dahlias, Ranunculus, Clematis, Delphiniums and white Cosmos that I snipped from a pot sitting by our back door!

Because when you’re a florist, you can’t walk past a pot of flowers at home without thinking… ooh, I could use those! 😂
