After a sell-out our birthday weekend in August, we are very pleased to have restocked our brand new stash bags.

Now on their third design, this time we have taken all your feedback from the previous two to create a bag that’s perfect for taking with you on the go. In addition to the long shoulder straps we’ve added an optional cross body strap. You can now attach your pins to the straps on both sides for a snag-free display space and we’ve added an extra internal ring for storing all your centralisers alongside the zip pocket.

This heavyweight cotton canvas bag is more sturdy than the last with a wide gusset that will stand up whether empty or full. It is accompanied by a yarn patch, button pin and yarn label key fob so you can add your TOFT customisation wherever you wish on your bag.

To celebrate we’re raided the archive to release some older collectable patches and pins that have been hiding away for a long time! For this weekend only these will come free with their accompanying crochet kits. All team kits are also available with patches. Take a look in ‘New’ and then ‘Collectables’ to browse them all. Stock levels are very limited on some, and it truly is the last chance to add them to your collection.

A very popular Autumnal project last week Knit + Stitch , this is the Log Bag, embellished with Fallen Leaves 🍂 and Fly Agaric 🍄 from the Forest Floor patterns.

Made in our Aran yarn on a 5mm it creates the perfect shoulder bag to show off your creativity when you’re out and about.

The thing I am most excited about the Forest Floor crochetalong is to see the variety of projects that you’ll create when embellishing with the small fungi and lichen patterns. Choose just your two favourites (like this!) or combine all sixteen to create a unique piece of wearable art.

So who’s got a troll on their hook right now?

Discover the pattern for this Forest Troll inside our new Beneath the Trees magazine, and then decide which size you’re going to make her in. This one is made in our Aran yarn on a 5mm hook, and is sitting waiting for some Forest Floor fungi to adorn her back.

The Forest Floor crochetalong will begin on the 23rd October covering lots of little techniques from colour changing to loop stitch, trebles, embroidery and surface slip stitching.

I’ll spend the first couple of days covering various techniques from the various ‘base’ patterns including the wreath, troll and log bag. You can wait to crochet your base alongside your small forest floor pieces, or instead get a head-start so you can embellish day by day once we begin.

🍄 Trick or Treat 🍄

There’s less than three weeks left to order this year’s mystery Halloween crochet kits before they all disappear on Halloween.

And just like that the magical woods have been packed back into the van and returns to HQ, and with that Ally Pally is over for another year.

Thank you to everyone who came to soak up some crochet inspiration with us this week, we have loved every minute of the planning, stand build and four days beneath the trees meeting you all.

A big shout out to TOFT team members Rachel, Tash and Beth for being so awesome throughout such a busy week and making the magic happen. ❤️

A very busy Saturday Knit + Stitch beneath the trees of B8. 🌳

It’s our final day here at Ally Pally tomorrow, and come 4.30pm we’ll be rewinding every screw to pack our Fairy Tale world back away to return to HQ. We’ll all be sad to dismantle this one!

It’s been an incredible few days working amongst all the projects from the new magazine collection and fairy tale books and thank you to everyone who has been to see us.
