For the past while I’ve been regrouping and trying to decide where I go from the beeswax wraps. Unfortunately they have become unsustainable due to energy costs and I can’t justify a price tag of £20 a pack.

So we move onwards. I’ve discovered that I adore crocheting, who knew! The seesaw motion is so bloody relaxing and I’m sure I read somewhere that it’s good for potentially keeping things like dementia at bay (I may also have totally made that up 😬).

These rather cute cotton-cats are the purrfect solution to all your reusable make up remover needs. Beautifully soft and hand crocheted from cotton, you can chuck them in the washing machine and hang to dry. For the next week they are £10 for 7 cotton-cats, before they go on my Etsy store.

Larger cotton-cats would make a gorgeous wash cloth for a new baby - dm for details.

Very excited to be swapping phonics for the studio next week! Mostly because I’m a rubbish teacher, but also because I miss working as much as the kids miss being at school. How are you all feeling about Monday’s return to school?

I’ve been thinking about how to fabric recently and today I’ve chopped up some old curtains and a skirt to make these rather lovely reusable fabric gift bags. Question is, would you buy them if I sold them?

Reduce, reuse & recycle is my motto and permeates every part of my life. Every thank you card I send out with orders is from something. These are cut from the leftover card from our more than 7 years ago (yes, I am a hoarder of paper).

Today I finished a large order which had been disrupted by 2 bouts of chickenpox and a pandemic 😷 . But we made it and I have to say that I love this so much!
