💙 "I had to wear socks on my hands just to care for my newborn."
When Kiri, 31, developed psoriasis during pregnancy, she thought it was just a rash that would disappear. Instead, it became the start of one of the hardest periods of her life.
🫶Her hands became so cracked, swollen and painful that changing nappies, bathing her baby and even holding him became almost impossible. She lost four fingernails, covered her fingertips with plasters and even cut the toes off socks to wear over her hands because the pain of touching anything was unbearable.
"Every time I looked at my hands, I just cried. I couldn't change my baby's nappy or get him dressed without help."
After trying numerous prescription steroid creams, Kiri wanted to find a gentler way to manage her psoriasis. That's when she discovered PSOregon Skincare.
Within weeks, she noticed her hands becoming softer and less painful. The cracked skin began to heal, the scaling reduced and she finally felt she was regaining control. Today, she continues to use PSOregon as part of her daily skincare routine to help keep flare-ups at bay.
"PSOregon has totally transformed my life. I finally feel like I'm managing my psoriasis, instead of it controlling me."
Kiri is sharing her story to remind others living with psoriasis that they're not alone. There are options available, and finding the right skincare routine can make a real difference.
