🌸Baby in Bloom🌸 A beautiful baby shower theme for celebrating a little life on the way.

This baby girl shower was all about soft, romantic details and meaningful touches. For this “Baby in Bloom” theme.

I created a bespoke collection including an A2 welcome sign on easel, a personalised flower box sign, individual name cards for each guest with a scripture on the reverse, and a “write your favourite Bible verse” sign to bring everyone together in a special way.

The mum to be was so happy with everything, and seeing guests connect with the details, especially their personalised name cards, made it even more special 🤍

Sometimes my clients invite me to their weddings… 💌

Okay, this time it was my friend’s, but it reminded me why I form such meaningful relationships with the couples I create for. ✨

For this wedding, my lovely friend made homemade jam for every single one of their 120 guests, and I was asked to handwrite each guest name in calligraphy for the tags. A simple but powerful gesture that showed just how deeply they valued every person in the room.

It wasn’t just about the details. It was about love, thought and connection, making every guest feel seen and celebrated.

That’s what I love most about wedding calligraphy. It turns stationery into something truly personal, a reflection of your story, your style, your heart.

And yes… I may have given the photographer the side eye on the dance floor 👀💃

Volunteering at Big Church Festival: What I Learned About Myself, Faith & Business.

The stats: 📊
One week.
6 nights of camping.
35,000 guests.
900 volunteers.

From living solo to sharing meals, toilets, and showers with thousands, volunteering at this incredible Christian festival stretched and strengthened me in ways I didn’t expect.

✨ I learnt to always be prepared to offer my skills, whether it was signwriting or helping set up, being ready to serve meant I could show up fully.
✨ I saw how it takes an entire team to create something powerful. So when I feel overwhelmed in my own business, I remember: I’m only one person, and that’s okay.
✨ Volunteering your skills doesn’t make you “less than.” It shows leadership, initiative, and heart, things that matter just as much as experience or titles.

Some standout moments:
💛 Working with the amazing Zoë in the pre-event setup
💛 Touring the site with the festival’s founder
💛 Having the dedication of Molly & Georgia, who looked after all 900 volunteers with so much grace
💛 Worshipping with artists like Abbie Gamboa, Brandon Lake, and Elevation Worship
💛 Having almost every meal prepared for me, a true gift when I usually do everything myself!

This was my first ever Christian worship festival, but it won’t be my last. I came away with new friendships, deeper faith, and a renewed love for community and connection. I can't wait to be back next year!

And finally, for my fellow creatives... don’t underestimate the value of serving with your skills. Volunteering can open doors, deepen connections, and grow confidence in ways you don’t expect.

P.S. The nitty gritty facts 🤣 I do love camping… but after 6 nights and 35,000 people, seeing my own real toilet at home felt like the height of luxury 🚽🙏

✨ I can’t believe this was my first ever podcast appearance last year and what an experience it was! 🎙️

If you’ve been here a while, you’ll know I’m officially a part-time risk taker 💥 and full-time heart-led creative. I don’t wait for permission — especially when it comes to stepping into something new (even solo). And this podcast was one of those bold leap-of-faith moments 🙌

This episode was filmed totally live — unfiltered, unedited, and completely real. While I didn’t dive too deeply into the business side of things, I loved sharing my journey from police detective 👮‍♀️ to creative entrepreneur ✍️, and letting my personality and passion shine through.

Whenever I can I will always do my best to gift a prize for the local charity raffles. This one was at the Peters Village Fair raising money for the local girls brigade. The winner chose a poem of her choice for me to write out in calligraphy which was gifted to her. Sometimes an act of kindness, spreading joy with our talents can make someone's day. I am so pleased to see the winner loved her Handwritten calligraphy poem and it is now framed to be seen everyday.
