Tired out our new assistant this weekend. Bernie is bags of personality in a small package.

He's a 3 and half year old unexpected addition to the family. After losing Theo (at 17) last summer it seemed impossible to contemplate another companion but over the past 3 months Bernie has gone from an absolute rascal to a semi-rascal, excellent greeter and loves cuddles.

He spends a lot of his time with his Dad giving haircuts though after a pleasantly sedate test run we hope to have him at the shop more often... if his Dad will let us!

The ladder is always a talking point- especially at Christmas. Sometimes I wonder how many of the customers who we discussed it's process with have installed one themselves.
If anyone's out there we'd love to see what you've done.

I'm thinking of switching it up at home and having one myself. Somewhere to show off hang all the dried flowers I collect or maybe hang underwear since it never seems to dry in this weather. We're down to thongs over here.
