And that’s it…. We are done!
A sad day but I have so many happy memories of the last 4 years. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to do this. This is a tough business. We may have stuck around a while longer, but certain obstacles were put in our way that made it difficult to carry on. That’s a story for another day.
I can’t thank you enough for the support and beautiful messages. It
means so much to know we got it right. I apologise for not replying to individual messages, but please know they were all read and appreciated. Hopefully another shop will be along soon to take our place.

For now, it’s a much needed break, maybe a job and a vinyl side hustle!

We are closing the shop on July 23rd. The business will continue online.
I wrote several very long notes about the reasons, and you will get one of them before the month is out but ultimately it boils down to the new location not being what we hoped, coupled with the rising cost of doing business. It is tough for small independent shops and sadly it looks like this won’t improve any time soon. We didn’t lose money, we just didn’t make enough, so a good time to go.
Look out for more updates very soon. We have a lot of stock to get through, so no doubt we will have some bargains on offer soon. We might even have a rave!

We have updated the list of titles we will have in stock on Saturday 23rd. Please check the list on the website. We have removed the titles that have moved to June (a lot!).
The shop will close at 3.30pm on Friday 22nd to set up for Record Store Day. Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday.

Once again we will participate in Record Store Day on Saturday, April 23rd. The shop will open from 9.00am - 5.00pm on the day.
We have added a list to the website of all the stock we expect to recieve on the day, but a lot of titles are running late and will move to June 18th release date. We will update the list in the days leading up to the 23rd.
Some titles we will have multiple copies of, some we will have just one. This is really out of our hands. Usual RSD rules apply. One copy per person of any available title. No preorders or reserving stock. No discounts. Any remaining stock will be available to purchase online after 8.00pm on Friday April 29th.
For those of you that only visit us once a year, please note we have moved to 52 Hill Street (in the basement of Bridge&Hill Livingstore),Just a short distance down the hill from our old shop.
We had hoped that the cafe would be able to open early to serve drinks to the early birds. Unfortunately this is not going to be possible. They will open at 9.00am.
We look forward to seeing you on the day and thanks as always for your support 🙏
