A slightly different project for us recently 👌

The original wet room floor had been installed with the fall running the wrong way, causing water to drain away from the waste instead of towards it. We stripped it back, corrected the levels, and created the proper fall to ensure everything works exactly as it should.

As part of the same project, we also completed the kitchen flooring, giving the whole space a fresh new look from one room to the next.

A great example of how attention to detail makes all the difference — not just in how a floor looks, but how it performs too.

Another challenging floor !

This project required a full moisture-control solution before the new flooring could be installed. We applied a liquid DPM to protect against residual moisture, followed by ProFlow Finish Latex to create a perfectly smooth and level surface ready for the final floor covering.

The finished installation featured a combination of Karndean and Amtico LVT, which meant careful planning was needed to achieve a seamless finish. To accommodate the slight difference in floor heights, we had custom 0.5mm shims manufactured, ensuring both products met perfectly with a clean, professional transition.

Attention to detail is what makes the difference between a good floor and a great floor.

Damp Damage

This property had a leak from the old kitchen which had penetrated the flooring structure.

Initially, we believed that removing the affected section and replacing it with new flooring would resolve the issue. However, upon closer inspection, we found that the damp had penetrated through the chipboard and into the subfloor.

Before any new flooring could be installed, the affected areas had to be removed, the subfloor allowed to dry thoroughly, and then the flooring system could be reinstated and refitted.
