We visited park in Detling today, the view across the North Downs was spectacula.

But whilst going through the woodland we spotted a brightly coloured metallic stuck in a tree. Mr Little Circle and Mr Teenage Circle managed to get it out of the tree, hopefully this was blown away by mistake rather than being deliberately released 🤔🤞🏻 another reminder of how lightly we should tread on this beautiful planet.

Our fully funded Climate Course is coming back!!! We're super excited to be working with Rob's Tuition at Lux Education to deliver 3 new courses in Rainham, Rochester and Chatham.

The course will cover the science of climate change in an easy to understand format. We'll look at the air quality in Medway with Karen & Liz from and look at making our gardens planet friendly with the amazing Leon Roskilly from Wild About Rainham.

The course is completely free to attend and will include free teas/coffees and a light lunch/breakfast or afternoon snack PLUS those completing all course sessions will receive a certificate of completion.

Beautiful afternoon at Bloors Wharf before walking/rolling along to Riverside for a hot choc. The redshanks were out in mass and the widgeons sounded very happy indeed.

After yesterday's blocking of the much needed Climate & Nature Bill I feel a bit like pic 5 - Nature surrounded on all sides by the industrial capitalist system.

But I refuse to be beaten if we can at least change people's actions when it comes to choosing cleaning products, which are better for the environment, then at least we're making positive impacts. We can at least help to protect our beautiful estuary from more damage.

Tonight Kate attended the Medway Council Climate Change Community Working Group at MidKent Collage thanks to the team for organizing a great presentation from Zak who represents Medway Food Partnership. We heard about what they are doing to address a whole host of food related issues inc poverty, waste, nutrition, obesity and skills shortages. Lots to process but very pleased to be involved in making Medway a better place to live and work 💚
