Expert skin lesion analysis in partnership with Map My Mole by Community Dermatology. I will take high-definition images using a dermatoscope and camera of your selected moles and send them directly to UK -based consultant dermatologists for rapid assessment.

Within 48hrs a written report will be sent to you, advising you whether the lesion needs monitoring, or needs further investigation with your GP or dermatologist. If further investigation is advised you will be contacted directly with clear guidance for the next steps to take.

Every bottle of Roaura® Body Oil starts life in a 2 litre batch.

Not because I have to.

Because I choose to.

Essential oils are full of naturally occurring aromatic compounds called terpenes. The bright citrus notes in bergamot, the warm spice of black pepper and the rich earthiness of patchouli all come from these delicate aromatic compounds that slowly change when they're exposed to air.

Exposure to air starts the natural process of oxidation. Over time, it can soften the fragrance, alter the character of the blend, and increase the likelihood of skin irritation.

When demand calls for 20 litres or more, I don't make one 20 litre batch.

I make ten separate 2 litre blends...

It takes considerably longer 🙃.

But each blend spends less time exposed to the air, helping to preserve the character of the essential oils from the very beginning. And is the secret (don't tell anyone 😂) to why it smells so fresh and powerful in comparison to mass produced body oils.

That's also why the Roaura® Body Oil range is bottled in Miron® violet glass. Unlike clear or amber bottles, Miron® glass filters out the wavelengths of light that accelerate degradation while allowing only beneficial violet and infrared light to pass, helping preserve the delicate aromatic compounds for much longer.

That's especially important for oils like patchouli. Unlike many essential oils, patchouli continues to mature over time. When stored well, it becomes rounder, deeper and more beautifully balanced, much like a fine wine.

It's these small decisions, most of which you'll never see, that make the biggest difference to the product you hold in your hands.

You may also notice that 'Midnight Harmony' has now become Blend 01.

Only the name has changed. Everything inside the bottle remains exactly the same.

As the collection grows, each essential oil blend will become part of the Roaura® Blend Collection, allowing the same scent to appear across different products. So if Blend 01 becomes your favourite, you'll know exactly what to look for whether it's in a body oil, botanical mist or something new in the future.

Luxury isn't about adding more.

It's about taking more care.

Pre screening consultations for CryoPen® treatments.

Treatment dates available from week commencing 17th August. For £49 for a 15 minute session (and free post treatment check 2-4 weeks after). This is usually enough time to treat several small lesions, including skin tags, cherry angiomas, milia, pigmentation spots, warts and verrucae.

Cryotherapy has minimal downtime, but each treated lesion requires appropriate aftercare while it heals. To achieve the best possible results and minimise the risk of complications, treatments are intentionally limited to smaller areas during each appointment. Once the treated area has healed, additional lesions can be treated if required.

Not all skin lesions are suitable for CryoPen® treatment. Any lesion that appears suspicious or requires further investigation will not be treated and may be referred to your GP or dermatologist.

Some lesions, particularly verrucae and warts, can be more persistent and may require multiple treatments to achieve the desired result. Follow up appointments are therefore offered at a reduced rate of £19 for a 15 minute session, and will remain at this price until the original lesion has been successfully treated, regardless of how many sessions are required.

To make booking simpler and pricing clearer, I’ve made two updates to the system.

Last minute availability

A new last minute availability option is now available for anyone looking to book at short notice.. This will show available dates and times, along with the treatments that can be accommodated within those appointments.

If you already know which treatment you’d like to book, I’d still recommend using the standard 'book in' option for the most accurate availability.

Treatment pricing update

I’ve also reviewed and simplified the pricing structure across all treatments, from waxing through to facials.

Pricing is now primarily based on appointment time, with additional charges only applying to advanced treatments such as microneedling, where treatment costs are higher. The goal is to make pricing more transparent, consistent, and easier to navigate when booking.

Some prices remain unchanged, some have reduced, and a small number have increased slightly to better reflect treatment time. This adjustment has mainly affected nail appointments, though if you are affected I've already told you, so this post won't be a surprise that makes you spit your tea out😂.

If the temperature tomorrow is going to get as high as forecast, and you wish to reschedule your appointment just drop me a line.

If not I will have a cool towel, and cold marine stones for you during your treatment!

I won't go into the whole "remember to wear your SPF" routine, because you know very well you need to wear it all year round 🧐.

I will remind you, however, to remove mirrors, cans of deodorant, hairspray, and spray SPF from the windowsill now. They can be a fire risk and I don't want that to be the reason you have to reschedule.

I did a social media course online this week, and honestly it was a bunch of b*****s 😂. Though one of the tips was to be more at the forefront of my business communications as a sole trader, "let people see the face" 👀.

As an elder millennial (ahem 🫪), I obviously cannot take a selfie without pulling a weird face 🤷 (or using too many unnecessary emojis in my posts 😻⭐🧟💃, really how many is TOO many?!). I genuinely would love to share more images rather than generic odds and ends done in canva, but I am a little crap at that!

So here is my first attempt at posting myself, and being more the 'face'. I am today's first client as I'm off out this evening, treating myself with my go to facial pick me up Nimue's exfoliating enzyme. You should buy one too! Why Andrew 👁️👃👁️? Well it is a great thing to exfoliate with, as you can't overdo it. It digests all the dead skin cells and stops there, no irritation or itching.
