24 hours to go until the launch of my own Hunkydory Crafts Adorable Scoreboard project book, book stand and clear stands on HobbyMaker

Has so much fun filming this. Apparently Kelly Hunkydory didn’t notice my tshirt sticking out the whole way through 😝

Love that Adam, Ann & Big Boss Dan got involved.

Look what I found in our Hunkydory Crafts warehouse? It’s only all of my Special makes handbook.

Launching this Thursday on HobbyMaker at 3pm for a 2h special and then on Friday at 10am on HDTV. All my demos for both shows with be completely different.

Just a normal day in the office at Hunkydory Crafts

This week is Hunkydory Fest on HDTV. I’ve watched Hunkydory fest the last few years but this year, this week is my very first Hunkydory fest so I had to go all out.

We always have a lot of fun in the office but this has just had us all howling.

BRAND NEW LAUNCH

❤️ Here we go, it’s not often we tell you in detail & in advance but Big Boss Daniel Hunkydory has told me I can give you the heads up now of what I will be launching on HobbyMaker this Thursday for a 2 hour double at 3pm with Nigel May and then on HDTV on Friday at 10am.

❤️ It’s our brand new Hunkydory Crafts Adorable Scoreboard project handbook and it’s “Craig’s Special Makes”. There’s 19 projects which I’ve been inspired by and created for this handbook. Some you’ve seen me do and asked for the instructions and most you’ve never seen before.

❤️ Not only that, I’ll be launching our book stand which is perfect for all your handbooks, project books, layout libraries. It’s extendable with changeable heights & angles and is also perfect for the kitchen and your recipe books (yes, that is one of my favourites books) but also great for your tablets while watching HDTV, Hobbymaker or your favourite tv shows while crafting.

❤️ As Davina McCall would say - “fancy another one”? Well what about some branded heavy duty card display stands. Great for your stall if you make and sell or maybe use them to advertise your business, posters or to take photos of your makes.

❤️ This project book has been a labour of love between myself, Ann & Rebekah & I have caused so much stress because my handbook also covers the finishing touches such as layering the insides and trust me, for Ann & Rebekah that’s hard to convey in a project book but oh boy I am so chuffed, proud and grateful that Hunkydory have given me this opportunity.

🧚 I needed to make a card for my friends little girl and I knew exactly where to go and that was our Fairyland Friends collection was the collection that came free with our current edition 89 of “Crafting with Hunkydory”. The size of the card is tent fold 6x8”.

🧚 However for the focal I went to our Hunkydory Crafts Fairlyland Friends Picture it pad & used elements from the magazine on the background layers including a layer of the printed parchment. For the decoration I used my go to little flower & butterflies dies from past moonstone collection and pink gems to bling.

🧚 To really elevate the base & toppers, not only did I use Rose petal Matt-tastic but I also used Charcoal too but just a very thin layer make it pop.

🧚 For the insert, I cut the floral frame in half to A5. Before committing to this as it was the only sheet I had, I cut a piece of printer paper to A5 & printed my insert from Microsoft word on that first to get the sizing right & when happy I printed again onto my actual framed insert. I then trimmed to fit inside the 6x8” card.
As I always suggest, for the insert matt and layer I used the darker colour I used on the front which was Charcoal.

🐻 Back in early May it was my little cousin’s birthday. Dan is my cousin but we call each other brothers as we are close.

🐻 Dans into his motor bikes but I wanted something different so I went into my Storage4Crafts unit and went through my previous collections of Hunkydory Crafts & knew this collection was perfect. It was called Animal Kingdom and chose the beautiful big bear. I teamed it with our Mint (not exact name) Adorable Scorable & Gold Mirri.

🐻 I needed something in the top corner so added some banners or fish tails & added some of our Gold studs all around. The whole card is on a 6x8” tent fold card blank and all assembled using Stix 2 Anything adhesive.

🐻 For my sentiment I typed it and printed it onto our A4 White essential card block. Done the same for the insert inside. His name I used our standing tall alphabet dies.

Such a great day (as always) yesterday at HobbyMaker. I’m never on with Rosie Wells so I loved having 2 shows with her. Had a great catch up and hug from the beut that is Debby Robinson Crafter's Companion & flooring we had Kat & Jack was on cameras.
