๐ŸŽƒ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ Halloween in Wales: History, Folklore and Swanseaโ€™s Most Haunted Places ๐Ÿ‘ป๐Ÿ‚

Join me if you can โ€“ free entry and maybe a few goosebumps!

Full details, dates and official blurb below:

Morriston Library 20th October 11:00-12:00
Killay Library 24th October 11:00-12:00
Oystermouth Library 24th October 14:30-15:30
Gorseinon Library 27th October 11:00-12:00

Halloween is a time for ghost stories โ€” and Wales has plenty to tell.

On Nos Calan Gaeaf, the Welsh Halloween, the veil between worlds was said to be at its thinnest. Bonfires blazed, eerie swede lanterns lit the dark, and terrifying figures like headless white ladies and the dreaded black sow were said to roam the night.

Swansea has its own share of hauntings. From ruined castles and windswept beaches to shadowy streets and old theatres, restless spirits are never far away.

Join Mark Rees to uncover eerie tales, folklore and the cityโ€™s most haunted places โ€” if you dare.

Mark Rees is a journalist and author of more than ten books on Welsh history and folklore, including Ghosts of Wales and Paranormal Swansea and Gower.
