We are thrilled that Your Pontypridd BID has invited Dinomania to stage their amazing interactive show in Pontypridd this Summer in an amazing totally free event. You can catch the dino-amic performance on Market Street at 11am, 1pm or 3pm but why not make a day of it and enjoy a trip around the 'Jurassic Market'? Pick up your sheet from our pop-up on Market Street and challenge yourselves to find the clues in the indoor market. Another nice delivery this morning. We know some people who will be very excited to see these in stock. We’d almost lost hope in new needoh coming in as they are very hard to get hold of and in huge demand right now. That’s why unfortunately we have to limit one per child and can’t hold any back. We still have other popular squishies including dumplings and squishy puppies but be warned kids of all ages are going mad for these and stocks won’t last for long. All our products are from genuine trusted suppliers and safety tested (and have the official marks to show it).

Great news, we will have eagerly awaited Pitch Black Pokémon boosters from this Friday. We are unable to reserve sorry and we will be limiting to a max of 4 packs per customer per day, this action will ensure there is plenty to go around for Pokemon fans of all ages over the weekend. Unfortunately as of right now we have not had a delivery of ETBs.’ When and if we receive these, and you have been on our books for sometime we will contact you to ask if you wish to enter our draw, with such limited numbers it’s the fairest way. Hopefully we will have more stock soon if you miss out this time.

Last few days of school before the Summer break. If there's a special teacher at school that deserves a big thank you, we have a great choice of 'thank you teacher' cards in Welsh and English but if you need something extra special or a message you can't find elsewhere speak to Tidy Arts about personalised cards. Designer Andrew is at our shop all week and will print one for you whilst you wait.

Huge congratulations to Rhondda Cynon Taf Council and Pontypridd Town Council for making the top 15 of shortlisted towns for culture 2028, with their application. When business and residents of Pontypridd were invited to attend a meeting of ideas at Llyfrgell Pontypridd Library back in February, we had the pleasure of attending along side Hulaballoo - vintage inspired & rockabilly clothing - to represent The Market Quarter Pontypridd
There was Lots of discussion of what makes Pontypridd so unique. We were all invited to write down our thought on post it notes and was humbled to learn lots of Pontypridd rich history. But it’s not just about its past it’s about its future, let’s do this together with positivity. Fingers crossed for the win but also immensely proud of Pontypridd just to be shortlisted is a huge achievement.

Would you believe it only just over a week and it’s schools out for summer.
