A couple of things..
Richard Boroczky funeral..
We are trying to get a convoy of cars to es**rt Richard on his final road trip on June 25th, meeting at old ferry road car park PL12 6BJ for between 1pm and 1.30pm and heading to Plympton crematorium PL7 1QW for 2pm.
The wake starts 3pm at the boathouse PL1 2NX

Secondly our next cars and coffee day at The Hideaway Cafe at Faraday Mill day will be in Richards memory, with St lukes donation buckets around, alternatively I have set up a just giving page 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 if you would rather donate on line.
Ocean BMW have also agreed to help share the cars and coffee day July 12th.

Works 'm' event.. Missed a 1602 which was hiding around the back, only saw it as it was leaving.. Ocean BMW bumped into a few mates, think the daughter preferred the food over the cars.. Sometimes I do wonder with her 🙄🤣, and afterwards popped to St Luke's Hospice Plymouth as no email back from them 😫 hopefully get the ball rolling to make our next cars and coffee day a charity event in memory of Richard Boroczky.

Our local zoo does some really cool late night activities over the Halloween period, and we love them because we're dark.
One that we do want to have a go at is this over 18s event. Doubt we'll be doing this year's so we'll be looking forward to videos/pics.

Earlier this evening I found out that a good friend has sadly lost his battle with cancer.. 😭
He was an absolutely amazing bloke, we bonded over our love of cars, and I've been repairing/painting his cars for around 8 years.
Both lotus carltons, lotus esprit, BMW alpina b10 and his 65 mustang which he tool the daughter to her prom in, treating my daughter as his own and was always eager to help
He has attended every one of our cars and coffee days except the last, he also told me to keep the events going as Plymouth needs this.
So I'm thinking that the next event we make him Richard Boroczky and I'll speak to his boys and see about making it a charity event, a d see which one/s his family would like.

A little bit of info on the Johnny cecotto M3 that turned up yesterday.
How many were built = 505 of which 25 were for the UK market (still LHD but headlights changed for UK spec). leaving 480 LHD (left hand drive) of which 80 de tuned models for the Swiss market.
Leaving just 400 LHD with the full 215bhp.
What's the difference?.. Well the Johnny cecotto edition comes with revised aero - removal of the fog lights in favour of brake air ducts, spoiler mechanism, body coloured rocker cover and air collectors + an added 15bhp from the revised S14 engine - standard M3 of the time was 200bhp from the 4 cylinder 2.3L engine.
Who was Johnny cecotto?
He was born in Venezuela, in 1975 at the age of 19 he became motorcycle world champion, winning 14 grand prix events and 2 World titles after some injuries he transitioned to F1 becoming Ayrton Senna's team mate in 1984 when more injuries - broken legs saw him move to touring car were he became a house favourite for BMW.
This one was imported in to the UK in 1989
BMW UK are holding a 'M' event and the car will be on display there.
Plus he'll be at more local events.

With a number of events on today our turn out was still pretty good.
With AM Restorations UK Ltd with his G60 corrado, his sons mini, 2 old Fiat 500 and 5 Nissan 350Z and a rare BMW E30 M3 Johnny cecotto edition.
The next event we will be at will be Plymouth Motor Show on June 21st.
