🌸 First delivery of the year has arrived! 🌸

We’re delighted to welcome back the beautiful locally grown flowers from Southfield Flowers, freshly delivered by the dream team , Archie and his dad! 🚜💐

Packed with colour, scent and all the signs that summer is on its way, these stunning blooms are now available in the shop.

Flowers back in the hut this morning ☀️

The weather has definitely not been our friend this last few weeks and we are sorry we’ve not had as many flowers out & about as we would have liked. Thankfully this weekend should bring some warmer temperatures and some much needed sunshine.

Lots of colour in the bunches this weekend 💐 and the squishiest pretty pink ranunculus

The Hut will be stocked up each morning, pick up some fresh locally grown flowers to brighten up these Spring days.

Perfect spring weather this week for the Eucalyptus trees to have their annual chop. It does look a bit severe but helps lots of new growth come later in the year 🌱

We’ve been quiet on here but it’s been a busy few months at the farm! Lambs skipping around in the sheds, seedlings enjoying the cosy poly tunnels and tulips emerging in the early Spring sun this weekend.

Our first flowers are still a few weeks away but we will keep you posted as soon as they are ready 💐

2025 💐
As this year comes to an end, we just want to say a huge thankyou to everyone who has supported us this year. It’s been our busiest & best yet & we are so grateful to everyone who picked up flowers from the hut, asked us to help with weddings & celebrations, ordered a special bouquet and of course to The Barrie Box Farm Shop The Scottish Antique and Arts Centre and Guardswell Farm their continued support.

Flowers are already looking good for 2026, with some favourites and some new varieties, in the meantime our focus turns to our four legged friends 🐑 and lambing in a few weeks time. Looking forward to being back in the spring! 🌷

** FLOWER HUT CLOSED **

The flower hut is now closed for the year.

A huge thanks to everyone who has supported us at the hut, at markets and choosing to buy Southfield Flowers. We are so grateful 💐

Bulbs have been planted & seedlings already popping through in the green houses, see you in 2026!

Things are starting to slow up a little in the flower field 🍂 but with some warmer temperatures forecast this week we hope to have flowers for a few more days.

Some lovely autumnal bunches available in the hut this morning.

There is definitely a little chill in the morning air but the flowers are still blooming & we hope to have bunches available for a good few weeks yet 💐 meanwhile preparation for next year is already in full swing!
