The producers of our wonderful Fair & Fine Food face many challenges, not least from climate change. There are misconceptions, too. Some still assume that “made in Africa” means “low quality,” a myth Black Mamba (along with all our other African producer groups) works tirelessly to dismantle by producing premium, globally competitive products that speak for themselves.

What keeps them going? The transformation they see every day: farmers sending their children to school, communities thriving, and consumers discovering the taste of Africa with pride and excitement. How is that achieved? Through fair trade.

Well done Agrippa! True Origin Partnerships is delighted to congratulate Agripa Mwaful Zimba on his graduation in May 2026 from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics (with credit).
True Origin worked with KASFA to support Agripa through his secondary school education, and continued support enabled him to go on to University. We are thrilled that Agripa has achieved his degree. We would like to thank all who support us, and by doing so have supported Agripa. We wish him well for the future.

Happy Africa Day - especially to all the producers of our Fair & Fine Food on the continent. Their delicious quality products really add something special to our mealtimes and snacking. The vibrant chilli sauces, pesto’s, condiments, and jams from Black Mamba in Eswatini are changing the world through meaningful impact. In Mozambique the Sunshine Nut Company is turning locally grown cashews into finished fresh-tasting products and butters in the same communities where they’re harvested. In Kenya, through Meru Herbs, women and youth are being empowered through fair trade as we enjoy their delicious tropical spreads, herbal teas, chutney and sauces.
