Breaking News – Gabe is off to trails new! – Well, Bristol actually.
Gabe Weston, the Bay’s favourite bike mechanic and DIB superstar is off to begin the next ride of his career in the bike industry having secured a fantastic new job with Certini, at their Specialized Concept Store in Bristol.
Gabe came to me in March 2021, after his career had stalled and asked if I’d give him the chance to re start his Apprenticeship as a bike mechanic. After a short trial I decided to give him the opportunity and I’m proud to say it was one of the very best decisions I have made.
Following completion of his Apprenticeship, at which he gained Distinction grades for all elements, Gabe has excelled in everything that has been asked of him, has become a huge asset to the business and has contributed massively to the great reputation the shop now has.
His bike knowledge has continued to grow and expand, attending further training and gaining valuable experience with every bike and system imaginable. He now has a wealth of knowledge and understanding, along with an unbridled willingness to offer friendly advice, explain and help in any way he can that has gained the respect of every customer he has dealt with. Even if sometimes he does forget to wear his shoes to work! 🤣
We will miss him and it is hard to say thank you enough for the contribution he has made to Dialled In Bikes.
