Since 2017, we’ve been proud to work alongside Lomond School, helping to deliver a uniform that reflects the character and heritage of this unique Scottish school.

From the distinctive tweed blazer worn by senior pupils to the traditional plaid kilt, every element of the uniform has been carefully considered to celebrate Lomond’s Scottish identity while providing students with a smart and contemporary look.

These wonderful images capture exactly what great school uniform should do – create a sense of pride, belonging and community, while allowing pupils to focus on making the most of their school experience.

Thank you to Lomond School for sharing these fantastic photographs. We’re delighted to have been part of your journey for almost a decade and look forward to continuing our partnership in the years ahead.

We’re incredibly proud to receive consistently positive feedback like this from our parents.

“They are a highly professional partner for school uniforms, and their efficiency is excellent. The quality of their products is outstanding, and I am extremely satisfied with the overall service.”

At Schoolblazer, we know that school uniform is about more than appearance. Parents expect quality, reliability, comfort and a service they can depend on, especially during busy back-to-school periods.

That’s why we continue to focus on delivering outstanding product quality, fast and efficient service, easy online ordering, reliable stock availability and a seamless experience for both parents and schools - something reflected clearly in the reviews and feedback we continue to receive.

Meet the Buyer: Lia Modha

Lia joined us as a Buying Intern in September 2023, while studying Fashion Buying with Design. Once graduated, she returned to us as a full-time Assistant Buyer specialising in sportswear in June 2025 and has since become an important part of the Buying Team here at Schoolblazer and Limitless.

With a strong interest in trend-led teamwear, Lia enjoys the fast-paced and commercial nature of sportswear development, helping ensure our ranges continue to evolve in line with current professional trends. At Limitless, we continually update our teamwear ranges to keep fabrics, styling and performance at the highest level.

Lia particularly enjoyed working closely on the development of a new rugby shirt, designed to elevate the pro teamwear range through improved styling, construction and fabric performance. Key features include:

· P5 performance fabric developed specifically for rugby
· Shoulder and side panel detailing for a modern professional look
· Choice of traditional hemmed sleeves or Lycra-bound sleeves for additional stretch and movement
· Three collar options, including a traditional Tonga collar
· 94% polyester / 6% elastane fabric blend for durability, comfort and flexibility on the pitch

The development process took around 8 months, involving extensive sampling, fabric testing and fit reviews. Rugby proved one of the most challenging products to refine, as the aim was to modernise the styling while maintaining the fit players already know and trust.

Lia particularly enjoyed researching current trends through competitor shopping and analysing what professional rugby players are wearing:

“It is always fun updating our teamwear range as you get creative freedom through style and sublimation. I really enjoyed the sampling process and holding the responsibility of launching a new pro range.”

A fantastic example of the creativity, attention to detail and commercial thinking that goes into developing high-performance teamwear.

At Schoolblazer, we recognise that one of the most critical environmental challenges facing the world today is global warming caused by CO₂ emissions.

As a clothing business, we know the production of fibres, fabrics and garments requires significant energy - from growing cotton and producing polyester, to dyeing, manufacturing and transporting products. Last year alone, we used 297 tonnes of fibre to create our garments, alongside further emissions generated through manufacturing, transportation, and the day-to-day running of the Schoolblazer business.

That’s why reducing our environmental impact remains a major focus across every part of our business. We continue to invest in improving our operations, reducing emissions, and exploring lower-energy alternative fibres and materials. While many of the long-term solutions are still evolving, we are committed to making meaningful progress now.

Since 2022, Schoolblazer has been carbon neutral, compensating for unavoidable emissions through certified climate protection projects that help finance recognised environmental initiatives around the world.

We understand that sustainability is a long-term journey, and one we are passionately committed to taking responsibly.

At Schoolblazer, we ensure ethical trading is central to how we operate.

We’re proud to be a full member of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI), an alliance of companies, trade unions and NGOs working together to promote workers’ rights around the world. Their vision is a world where all workers are free from exploitation and discrimination, and enjoy conditions of freedom, security and equity.

For us, delivering quality uniform and sportswear also means ensuring responsible sourcing, ethical manufacturing and fair working conditions throughout our supply chain.

It was a pleasure for Schoolblazer to attend the HMC Spring Conference today at BMA House, London.

Another fantastic opportunity to reconnect with partner schools, meet prospective new schools, and have valuable conversations around supporting the evolving needs of independent education.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat, and to HMC for organising another excellent event.

At Schoolblazer, we offer Sixth Form uniform options that maintain a clear connection to the wider school, while allowing pupils to adopt a business-formal look.

What makes this approach effective is flexibility - every school is different, and Sixth Form dress codes should reflect that.

For example, St Peter's School, York chose a navy blazer with brown binding and a jacquard lining – allowing them to subtly carry their brand colours through into a more mature, refined look. The result is a cohesive identity that still gives pupils the freedom to source their own bottom halves.

Supporting schools to strike the right balance between consistency and independence - something that’s increasingly important at Sixth Form level.

“Farlington School is very proud to have been one of the first partner schools for Schoolblazer going back to 2007, since which time they have provided both our uniform and sportswear.

In 2019 Farlington became co-educational as boys were introduced into the school across all age groups, and therefore significant changes were required in uniform and sportswear provision.

More recently, the school has conducted a thorough review of our sportswear across all age groups, from Nursery through to Sixth Form. From September we will offer more modern technical fabrics, and in doing so we have achieved a cost saving for parents on our core bundle.

We are therefore delighted to be looking towards our twentieth year working in partnership with Schoolblazer.”

For almost two decades, we’ve supported Farlington School through key milestones - adapting their uniform and sportswear to meet the evolving needs of their pupils and community.

Delivering innovative, high-performance products with a clear focus on value for parents.

Thank you to Farlington School for your continued trust and collaboration 🧵

Earth Day is a reminder that small, considered choices can make a meaningful difference over time.

At Schoolblazer, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do - built into how we design, produce and deliver school uniform.

From creating durable garments made to cope with the busy school day, to reducing unnecessary replacements, we believe longevity is one of the most effective ways to reduce environmental impact.

We’re also proud to have been carbon neutral since 2022, and to work closely with responsible suppliers as part of our ongoing commitment to ethical trading and continuous improvement.

It’s all part of our focus on reducing our impact wherever we can - because it’s Our Power, Our Planet.
