Last year my friends Megan & Rich had the most devastating news that their baby Nuala had a rare form of sarcoma in her eye. They made the heartbreaking decision to remove her eye and give her a fighting chance at beating cancer. At the beginning of this year she did just that. I know they are forever grateful to Alder Hey and the fabulous work they did and the support they continue to give them. Nuala is thriving and recently has got her first prosthetic eye, she is the first ever patient at Alder Hey making a prosthetic in this way and their youngest ever patient.

Today they completed the coniston challenge to raise money for Alder Hey! There’s still time to donate to this wonderful hospital that’s on our doorstep. Please click on the link to donate what ever you can!!
