Hi 👋 it’s been a while but just wanted to let you all know we are still here 💚We’ve been dealing with a few health problems and have had lots going on within the family over the last few months and so unfortunately the page and the allotment have taken the brunt of the neglect as we’ve had to prioritise other things.
Please bear with us and hopefully we will be back with more content soon. In the meantime enjoy a picture of where the allotment is currently after us dragging a million watering cans backwards and forwards over the last few months 😫😩😫

Tonight was my favourite night of the month! Witches get Stitches at Dragon Tales Forest School . Tonight’s treat was rhubarb and apple crumble and I made some progress on my witchy cross stitch 🧙🏻‍♀️🪡🔥🧡

Quick visit last night to install our new obelisks for our peas and beans. Love the little squirrels 🐿️ sitting guard on top. Checked on our seed beds from our last visit and we now have lots of new seedlings just starting to appear 🌱🌱🌱 Now we just need the rain to only fall during the night and the sun to reappear during the day and allotment life would be perfect 😂

Little update on the allotment… our first bed is really starting to take off with all the lovely weather we had 🥒🫜🥗🌽 just waiting for our new growing towers to be delivered to get in our peas and beans 🫘 🫛 This weekend we started planting up our second bed with cauliflowers, sprouts, kale, carrots, broccoli etc. all the fab stuff that will take us into late autumn and beyond 🥬🥕🥦🌰🧅🧄

For anyone looking for a new knit and natter group we can highly recommend sitting around the fire pit with your crochet, knitting, embroidery etc there is also cake and custard!! 😍

Planted some more pumpkins, courgettes, squashes and popcorn 🍿 added some olla pots to see if it helps with watering. Re-sited the cold frame and added a frame for the cucumbers which will be going in soon. Followed by a chippy tea with a few others on the allotment including Jake the dog 🧡
