Such a positive impact. Fantastic Lorn and Oban Reuse Initiative!

Small actions, massive local impact. 💚

In the last 12 months, Lorn and Oban Reuse Initiative (LORI) has supported 49 local good causes and individuals in crisis by donating over 1 tonne of furniture, electricals, tools, DIY materials, and household essentials. Not only has this saved our communities thousands of pounds, but it has also kept our planet a little greener. By keeping 1 tonne of goods out of landfill, we saved 1.2 tonnes (1,200 kg) of CO_2e emissions! 🌎✨That's the same carbon footprint as planting 20 new tree seedlings and letting them grow for 10 years! 🌲Thank you to everyone who has donated, shopped, and supported us this year. You are helping us build a stronger, more sustainable community. 🤝

Our volunteers give so much to Re_Store, the Rescued Food Project and to our events and workshops... without them we wouldn’t be able to do what we do. Thank you to each and every one of you. Here's just a wee snapshot of some of our wonderful team, past and present.
