Hello everyone! Over the last couple of days I've not only been working on Bears but I've also been working on two new makes, one of which was gifted today to a little girl on her Christening Day.
I enjoyed making both; the first a Sheep Cuddle Cushion. The second a Cuddle Duck. I think the Cuddle Sheep; although I like it may not be to everyones taste so your thoughts would be welcomed. She's a little bit quirky with her long, skinny legs and arms. I love the Cuddle Duck and am hoping to make more of these. I hope youve all had a lovely weekend.....it's certainly flown by! X Helen

Good morning everyone! This morning I've been in my workshop stitching out personalisation for my current Bears and an embroidered Giraffe for my Mum, who is working on a little project herself for a friend. So that's two more little jobs I can tick off my 'to do' list. I'm hoping that by the end of this week I'll have four Memory Bears all ready to return home. Next week I should have some more fabrics arrive for my next order and whilst I wait for that I'll be getting on with my next two Wedding Mice and another little gift for an up and coming Christening. I've also got a Crochet Bear on the go to, that's going to keep me out of mischief in the evenings! But for now I've got washing to get on the line, and breakfast to have all whilst planning out my next move for the day. Have a good day yourselves, speak soon. X Helen

Good morning everyone! An early start for me this morning. I've been up and finished off two Memory Bears all ready for plumping and over the last few days and evenings have managed to sew two extra small Memory Bears and make some more crochet Sleepy Babies. I've just got to finish their little sleepy eyes and then they're done. I've got a couple of ideas in my head so I'm going to do a little shopping later this morning for supplies.....always a joy shopping for pretties! But in the meantime I can share gifts for a Christening that took place yesterday. Thank you Danielle for your custom. I'm so pleased the little one loved her gifts. What a scorcher today has been. I've been like a hermit today! But the new fridge arrived this afternoon and my yarn arrived to so it's happy days all around. Now to get on with finishing my little evening crochet projects. Here are the bright, pretty yarns I received today. I'm looking forward to cracking on tomorrow! More will be revealed soon ☺️. Hello everyone! How are you all? Did you step outside to watch the Eclipse? We tried the pin hole in cardboard and actually did get a very very small reflection against the garage wall. We also managed to get our Son outside to join us to so that we could share the moment. I was expecting it to go a lot darker and be a bit more dramatic but it was what it was 😊. Although I've not done a lot of sewing because it's just been way too hot for me I have been preparing work though and just need some free time to get it done. The last 4 or 5 days have been a little trying with Hubby's van taking a turn and needing urgent repairs. That went in on Tuesday so he had to hire a Van for a week. Later on Tuesday he was helping a friend and tore a calf muscle so has been resting as much as possible since. But I must say he has become the master of funny walks! This morning I got woken up to, "the fridge freezer has broken" and then "the coffee machine has broken". We then popped out for a coffee; I popped my bag on a table and took the table number so I could order.....table 13....what an irony! Anyway, enough of my woes, things could be so much worse! I have taken a little time out in the evenings to crochet a lovely pattern (keeping them a secret at the moment) and I've almost finished two, except for their faces with another three in progress until I have some more yarn arrive tomorrow or possibly Friday. Two Mice have set off for home to in time for the big day. So I am keeping my self busy whilst sitting in front of a fan. I've got two more Mice to finish so need to attend to them very soon to. Tomorrow I hope to get some sewing done early in the morning before it gets too warm whilst I wait for a fridge to turn up but for now I'm watching The Sheep Detective. Good afternoon! I've been in my workshop for a little while doing a sample embroidery stitch out. I like to do a sample piece just to make sure there's no glitches that might spoil a project. This one stitched out lovely. Now to decide what to make as a final piece! I've got a couple of designs to do as samples; hopefully today I'll get them done. For now though I'm stopping for lunch. Hi everyone! Over the last few days I've been preparing the fabrics for my next orders and have cut out four Memory Bears ready for stitching; which I hope to start next week. I've had a few issues with one of my machines but am due to collect it from the Service Engineer tomorrow so I'm hoping to get back on track; fingers and toes crossed that repairs have done the trick! Today I've been working on two little Wedding Mice and these should be ready to return home next week. Unfortunately, I have no pictures to share just yet! It's lovely when you receive photo's that you can share of Bears in their new homes. I received several yesterday, some of which I've been asked to keep just to myself but I can tell you that it was lovely to see the children with their Bears.
