Simply Delicious. Celebration cakes

This was a challenge to say the least.
Due to the heat and the fact that it was all buttercream I had to work in short quick bursts to get things completed before getting it back in the fridge to firm back up BUT…..
I got the job done, delivered to Stratford and set up at the venue without a single mishap 🥵🙂
I had a specific set of instructions regarding style and I’m happy to say the customer is over the moon and, quite frankly, I’m glad it’s done and dusted!
It’s been a stressful couple of days, tying it in with working 12 hour shifts as well!
Now I can relax 😊😊

Although I’m doing very few cakes these days due to work commitments, I do still like to do the odd one or two!
This was a request for a West Bromwich Albion themed cake for an original 1970’s Punk Rocker. I was asked if I could somehow combine the two.
The cake itself was huge and measured
17”X15” … it weighed a ton! 😂
The customer was thrilled with the result! 😊

It is with deep regret and a heavy heart that I have decided the time has come for me to wind down my cake making business.
My full time job means I’m working in excess of 60+ hours on a regular basis, on days & night shifts. This is starting to have a detrimental effect on my ability to give my full attention to detail with my cakes.
I will honour any orders I have left for this year, but with immediate affect, my book for future orders is now closed!
I wish to thank all of my customers over the last 7 years for their loyalty and support with my business.
I hope you all find a good cake maker in the future for your celebrations.
