🔥 Did you know that every June, Latvia practically shuts down for one of the most magical celebrations on earth?
It's called Jāņi — Latvia's ancient Midsummer festival — and it makes our bank holidays look rather tame. Families pour out of the cities into the countryside, weave flower crowns from oak leaves and wildflowers, sing folk songs around enormous bonfires, and — in the most daring tradition of all — leap through the flames for good luck.
