Welcome back everyone, we are entering our tenth year of running workshops and finding new projects to sew difficult but we've added two workshops to the website. The first is a repeat of last years very popular place mat & cutlery holder which we will be doing in summery fabrics rather than Christmas themes and the second is a useful hanging organiser. The last workshop of the year was a big success. Absolutely love the place mats and cutlery holders everyone made and the nightshirt which we ran along side today’s workshop as a catch-up. Even though we were making a tote bag, today’s workshop was all about accuracy and sewing a quarter inch seam.
I’m pleased to say everyone from the novices to the seasoned sewers were spot on with their measurements. And because everyone was spot on, bags and linings fitted together perfectly meaning they all went home with a beautifully made item. Well done, you should all be extremely proud of your work.

What ever your colour scheme is, this reversible place mat and cutlery holder will bring some festive cheer to the dinner table.
The mat is made up of two sets of five petals, quilted together making it reversible. The cutlery holder is made in the same fabrics as one side of the mat, with a charm sewn on the front.
Sewing level – intermediate, some previous experience required.
This is a half day workshop is on 13th December costing £21.50 and is the final workshop of the year.
