A family run garden centre of over 40 years, firstly we pride ourselves on our extensive range of plants and garden products but we have so much more to offer! A wide range of pet/bird products, water features and an extensive range of garden furniture. Our giftware section includes Wrendale designs, Bomb cosmetics and Natural Creations Jewellery. Then relax in the Digg Café with an extensive menu

serving hot and cold food, cakes and beverages throughout the day. We have separate concessions including Maidenhead Aquatics, Solid Sheds and Natural Creations Jewellery. Open 7 days a week a great way to spend a few hours with free parking.

We’re hiring in the Digg Cafe 🎉🎉🎉

✨ WE ARE HIRING ✨ MULTIPLE ROLES AVAILABLE

We are looking for hardworking, positive individuals with a can-do outlook to join our ever growing Digg Cafe team to deliver the best possible service for our guests!

1 x Coffee shop assistant/Barista: working 24.5 hours per week including every other weekend working between the hours of 9:00 and 5:00pm. (Including weekends, bank holidays and special events)

1 x Coffee shop assistant/barista: working 21.5 hrs hours per week between the hours 9 - 5:00. (Including weekends, bank holidays and special events)

Hours and days have already been set and will be discussed upon interview, however we do require full flexibility during half term and annual leave cover! These days do include alternate weekends.

For this role you will:
- operate the use of tills and taking our guests orders
- taking orders & serving beverages and snacks
- maintaining cleanliness of your work station
- waitress/waiter service (running food and clearing tables)
- assisting the floor with clearing tables
- assisting within the potwash
- working independently & part of a team
- help the kitchen with food preparation
- help the kitchen team with deliveries
Full training will be given and you will be expected to complete your Level 2 food hygiene with plenty of guidance and help.
