I made a thing. I took part in the Hobby Challenge, and while it’s meant to be 3 days where you paint up a diorama, I only had today free so I didn’t get time to complete it all but instead I did get to focus just on the building and add loads of cool little bits of detail.

A vary rare find and it’s taken a long time to get hold of this at a reasonable price (eBay listing for this are often £200+ which is madness). Working away on some Age of Sigmar Terrain. I’ve managed to dust off what I’ve collected over the years (it’s not much) and assemble it. Note the arcane ruin is sadly missing the obelisk. More on the next side…

I have however managed to snag a few eBay bargains for more terrain (some more on the way) and I picked up one of the new double sided mats from Gamemat.eu which I’m looking forward to unrolling.

Played my first game of Spearhead yesterday with my spooky Nighthaunt trying to claim more souls against and his Cities of Sigmar.

It was fun to play though a little difficult to remember what’s in the advanced rules and what isn’t (for spearhead) but the card scoring or command ability use is a fun mechanic which keeps each turn fresh.

I managed to win (but I also went first and managed to get a turn 1 charge off) so it would be interesting to see how it played out if Stevie went first instead. I think a rematch is in order!
