☀️Good morning☀️
Something to give you a Friday giggle, you all know I am a bit loopy.....
Well last night my prayers were answered, we had RAIN! Not just any rain, it was torrential 🌧⛈️So torrential it wiped out my gazebo 🫣Within 5 minutes it had filled up like a swimming pool,sagged so much in the middle that it was actually touching the lawn! So me being me, I thought I had better sort it there and then and survey the damage 🙄
So there i am with my daughter helping, in the pi***ng rain, taking off the weights and shoving the centre of the stupid thing with a broom to move all the water. The small lawn then resembled a paddling pool 🤣I managed to get the cover off but the frame is so bent and broken I couldn't fold it, so at this point we were absolutely saturated, shivering and paddling.
We decided we'd had enough rainy fun and laughter for one night and went indoors, hubby took one look at us both and cracked up, there we stood, soaked to the skin, two rejects from a wet tshirt competition just dripping all over the floor🤣
So now I have a mangled and twisted gazebo frame adorning the garden, which hubby is going to sort out this evening (good luck with that) 🤭
Thankfully I have no craft fairs booked as decided to take a year off from doing them.
On the plus side, the air smells and feels lovely, my plants are very happy and today is so much cooler.
