We also offer an on-site engraving service, with most engraving carried out on the premises, and also specialise in corporate gifts including trophies, silverware, awards, glassware, tankards, salvers and medals. Established back in 1978, in those days our main business was in re-stringing tennis rackets, with sports trophies and engraving merely a side-line. In the 70s wooden tennis rackets mostly prevailed and the market was dominated then by Dunlop, Slazenger, Wilson and Spalding. Improving technology led Prince to develop its first multi-filament string in 1978, which quickly became the industry’s top seller. Over time, as the tennis racket stringing technology became increasingly harder for a small outlet to keep up with, the sports trophy and engraving side of the business became our primary focus.
