2006 vs 2026.

We're racing at the Lincoln Dragon Boat Festival on 11th July as Team Pirates of the Cardboardian 🏴‍☠️

And this is why.

Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance are our charity partner for 2026. They attend an average of 4 potentially life-saving missions every single day across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. They receive no government funding for those daily missions. Every penny they operate on comes from people who choose to support them.

That support means they can operate 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Without it, they can't.

So we're getting in a boat, picking up paddles, and doing something about it.

Last week, the Reuseabox team traded the warehouse for a warm afternoon outdoors.

We spent an afternoon volunteering with My Square Metre, who are doing brilliant work helping organisations reduce their environmental impact through wildflower planting.

We got our hands properly dirty:

🌱 Planted hedging across what will become a wildflower meadow
🐛 Ran plant and worm surveys to monitor biodiversity in the existing meadows

Last year, LNAA flew 1,608 life-saving missions. That's 1,608 times a crew dropped everything and raced to be with someone on the worst day of their life. Minutes that made the difference between life and death.

The Companies Act is still running on 2006 rules.

That's nearly 20 years of business, innovation, and a planet that's changed dramatically. All governed by legislation that hasn't kept up.

These boxes are ready for their next journey 📦

This morning, Ryan has been busy loading up pallets of used octabins into one of our Reuseabox trucks, heading straight to a customer who fills them with e-waste.

Instead of buying brand new, they chose a used alternative that saves them money and cuts their environmental impact.

We call that a win-win!

Flour everywhere, ovens working overtime, and a serious amount of competitive spirit in the air.

The reason? Our internal Reuseabox bake-off challenge.

The rules were simple... bring your best bake, let the team taste-test, and may the most delicious treat win.
