I’m delighted to be exhibiting Pittenweem Arts Festival with lots of new originals based on places and spaces across Scotland . Do not worry if you can’t make it up to the festival as I shall be returning next week to the gallery with the remainder of the collection. It will be great to see you here if possible , as my venue is beautiful and quirky . Venue 50 is situated on the harbour at the Gyles , it recently celebrated its 400 year birthday 🎉. I am thrilled to say that I’m exhibiting Pittenweem Arts Festival for the 7th year . I am extremely lucky to be in the most prestigious location at the Gyles , right on the harbour. I will be sharing with the delightful and talented Judith Kenny. Please come along and join me on Friday 31st July 7pm -9pm for some light refreshments.
The gallery will be closed from 1-8th August , still open Thursday & Friday this week.

What a fabulous Friday night we had ! A fun evening doing Paint & Sip! A massive thank you to all the team at Rouken Glen who made the evening so fabulous for our budding artists! It went swimmingly well and was a wee nod to the late David Hockney as we all recreated one of his swimming pool masterpieces . Fantastic fun! A great bunch of people and what a great team at David Lloyd’s. Thank you to everyone who came along . Until next time ❤️🍾🧑‍🎨🌈🥰

✨Artist spotlight ✨Just in today ! American born Todd Garner , inspired by 1930’s , creates fleeting moments in bars , cocktail lounges and restaurants. This new collection is based on family trips to Hawaii , tiki bars and palm trees. Garners work has notes of Edward Hopper as we feel we are the onlooker and observing casual moments in bar situations. The interaction of a bartender , or connected to phones is a new motif that runs through Garners work .

Morning all . Just a wee reminder that our aspiring artist exhibition “ Picture This” closes at the weekend .
The exhibition comprises of student work from children and adult art classes , many with talent that has been unleashed after many years of lying dormant !

Frida by Susan Finch sold 🔴 on Saturday . Susan is a prime example of embracing her creativity, I have loved nurturing her this year and cannot wait to see what she does next .

We run a number of art classes throughout the week , new timetable coming soon . So stay tuned for dates and availability.
