Tomorrow night we are having a pre match warm up at our gorgeous Scottish 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 gallery in Newton Mearns . Its our summer showcase of talent , “Picture this “ featuring adults and children who attend weekly classes throughout the year .

Our weekly classes provide a safe space to nurture our young people and encourage new friendships across different local schools . Its great to see confidence increase as well as exploring new projects and widening their experiences of art .

Our adult classes are friendly , with lots of fun and laughter , a happy place to escape from the daily grind . All with tremendous respect and mutual appreciation, of course with some Glasgow banter thrown in .

The exhibition is a delight and opens tomorrow night 6-8pm . If you are unable to attend , don’t worry . The exhibition runs until 19 July .

Hey folks , just a slightly earlier kick off on Friday night for our exhibition to accommodate the Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 v Morocco 🇲🇦game . We are bringing our exhibition time forward to 6pm -8pm . Tonight we have a selection of some of our youngsters and also some of our aspiring artists ❤️ Looking forward to welcoming everyone on Friday at “ Picture this “ ⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Picture This … opens this Friday 19 June . 7pm -9pm and is a showcase of the stunning work that has been created in the studio by aspiring artists , both adults and children . Many of the pieces are for sale , we even sold one today whilst we are still hanging! Today’s local artist is Alina . Alina has painted all her life and is truly dedicated, albeit it is not her chosen profession .
Pop on Friday for some light refreshments 🥃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿and you will be escorted out of the gallery in time for the Scotland game 🤣❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️

We are delighted to share some wonderful news from Studio Two Six One.

Last week, three of our artists received the outstanding honour of being elected to the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts (RGI). This prestigious recognition acknowledges their exceptional talent, dedication, and contribution to contemporary art.

Lesley Banks , Patrick Dorrian and James McDonald .

Being elected to RGI membership is a significant achievement within the Scottish art world, and we are immensely proud to have these artists represented within our gallery community.

Please join us in congratulating them on this well-deserved success. We are currently showcasing their work and super proud of their artistic achievements.

Our current exhibition Home & Away is a new collection of recent work by Lesley Banks, James McDonald and Jim Wylie . This exhibition is now in its final week.
