This Installer of the Month entry comes from Shane and Charley at Eradikil Pest Control who have completed a clean and discreet proofing job on a large residential property in the Oxford area.
Eradikil points out in their post, bird fouling can erode stonework, block gutters and create unhygienic areas around the property. Once pigeons are regularly perching on rooflines, parapet walls and ledges, the mess below can quickly become a real issue for residents, especially on paths, patios and walkways where droppings can also create a nasty slip hazard.
On this job, Eradikil installed bird netting to the window boxing underneath the windows, along with Defender Wide Stainless Steel Bird Spikes across the flat roof, parapet walls and ledges.
The spikes have been fitted along the leading edge of the parapet, which is exactly where they need to be to stop birds landing and defecating down the front of the building onto the areas below. On the wider surfaces, the pins have been carefully interlocked so returning birds cannot gain a foothold and settle back in.
A smart, well planned installation that protects the property long term, while moving the birds on without causing them harm 👏
Thank you Shane, Charley and the team at Eradikil Pest Control for choosing Defender Bird Spikes and for the tag.
If you are living in the Oxford area and need those pesky birds banished from your property, give the team at Eradikil a call to solve the issue once and for all 🐦✨
